We have finally succeeded in raising awareness for what it means to be a female artist and/or woman working in the music industry. It’s now time to dig deeper into another topic, that especially affects women working in our industry: Mother/Parenthood.

How does motherhood influence our perspective on feminism and equality? How do we fit having both children and a career into a life of parental responsibility? How much do we have to sacrifice for this? Can we still feel sexy and empowered after three hours of sleep?

Our panels and workshops aims to provide insight into what it means to be a parent and work in the music industry. How do we empower especially young women who hope to have both a career in music and children? What do men need to know about motherhood? How can we learn from each other to make things better? What change is needed to offer a family-friendly environment in the music industry?
