Stars & Heroes was active from 2004 - 2018.
Providing an independent selection of
quality artists, music and hypermedia art.
Considering the volatile, complex and ambiguous times we live in, Stars & Heroes is in a phase of analysing, experimenting and actualising our actions. This is happening in diverse formats and with different partners and projects through our department Hyper Culture. e.g.
in education and mentorships at NYU, BIMM, Musicpool, University of Paderborn and more educational institutions
in the form of conceptions and executions of new business ventures
in the co-creation of contemporary live programmes like our award-winning platform Norient Space @ Digital Brainstorming - Platform für digitale Kultur und Medienkunst
in the co-curation of conferences and digital exhibitions, e.g. IASPM D-A-CH Conferences or the Norient launch exhibition @ Haus der Kulturen der Welt, @ Radialsystem, digital bi-annual AGYA Assembly and many more…
through research projects in popmusic, media and education @ University of Sussex.
We are expanding adventures beyond established western music scenes. Nevertheless we are still busy with the following activities, but through different channels.
Hyper Culture support, consult and promote international artists, labels and performances. We strategise, curate and conceptualise festivals, discourse programs, music book-releases, documentaries and exhibitions with a profound attitude worldwide. We are specialized in electronic music in all facettes.
We belief in longterm relations: Transdisciplinary integrated networks are the future. We feel our cultural responsibilty. Quality, substance and independence counts.
Media trust us for tasty and early pre-selection, serious recommendation and suggestions without marketing budgets for a free and autonomous discovery... and we hate spam.
Electrifying music and artistic live performance infects us.
